The problem I researched was why racial inequality should be prevented. This is a problem because racial inequality affects society hugely, especially the hatred toward Black and Hispanic people, plus many other foreign people. The first source comes from the AP Seminar stimulus packet. According to the first source, “Elouise Cobell: A Small Measure of Justice.” Melinda Janko, a prominent figure, Producer, Director, Writer, graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA, proposes the quote, “We might have lost our judge but we didn't lose the facts,” she said. “And victory is going to come no matter what the judge”. This quote exemplifies that Elousie fought for something she knew was very wrong and didn't give up, no matter the circumstances. …show more content…

It also says, “While we can never be entirely free of racial prejudice, we have to be able to identify and address racism because it perpetuates the unearned privileges of some and imposes undeserved restrictions on others.” This quote expresses that there's racial injustice even in the criminal justice system and that it's very unfair.
