In the rainmaker lab the testable question was, what causes precipitation to eventually fall back to Earth’s surface? It was predicted that If warm air rises in the atmosphere then it will decreases temperature and will condense, and a phase change will occur which will cause it to fall because it will have a change in density and in temperature. The prediction above was supported by qualitative observations. In the lab the following observations were made.
