Members of Ravenclaw often remain in the shadows compared to the other four houses. Although, they, including myself, possess many qualities that enhance their clever ability to use magic. For instance, members who belong to this house are intelligent, wit ful, and wisdomful and therefore they can think outside the ordinary to solve problems, which I could say the same for myself. Moreover, Ravenclaws are unique; perhaps they do not value the importance of fitting in with their peers. Instead, focusing on gaining knowledge is a more appropriate goal for the Ravenclaws and myself (cite) In addition, a memorable member, Luna Lovegood tends to state her opinions, whether it be positive or negative. In social justice, being outspoken is especially important in order to remain an activist for others. On the other hand, pottermore.com suggests that "Ravenclaws are usually a little more demure when it comes to seeking glory" (cite). Unfortunately, I find this true in my life at times, which could detract from becoming a social worker, as well as being an advocate for social justice. Although the sorting hat chose Ravenclaw for me, I have some characteristics that belong to the members of Hufflepuff. Similar to the Durseley's, some of my cousins are close-minded to my ideologies and beliefs. We have dissimilar political views; and they cannot accept that I identify with belonging in the social work field.
