Reagan mentioned how each day the same people would work and she would have interactions with the majority of them. Reagan had created better friendships with Heather and Collette because the bond had just grown closer with them. She would eat dinner with the same group of women each day and enjoyed their company. Reagan stated how she liked her Nursing Supervisor, Kari, but could not see them having a friendship outside of work because of Kari’s seniority at the prison. Reagan said she enjoyed the workplace friendships with Sara and Kelly but due to the different work schedules they would not spend much time together outside of work. The closest friend she had at work , Jessie, had relocated months before this interview. Reagan said how she missed the workplace friendship but they still see each other outside of work. Reagan would work forty hour work weeks, Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm and would also work every other weekend. The job is fairly flexible with family issue and if Reagan would need time off for emergencies it was possible to do so. Reagan said how the hours were difficult to adjust to in the beginning because she would not get to put her daughter to bed anymore and weekend activities would be cut short. Overall, Reagan adjusted well to the hours and job demands and has switched from the bedtime routine to the morning
