In 2001, she triumphed when she took over the role Annie Oakley in the Broadway production, “Annie Get Your Gun.” Annie had been previously played by Bernadette Peters, Susan Lucci, and Cheryl Ladd. After Reba’s stint on Broadway she moved to Los Angeles to begin taping the television sitcom, Reba. The show debuted in October and stayed in production for six seasons, before it was taken off the air. In 2007, Reba released the album, Reba Duets, this was her first album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. The next year Reba released the album Keep on Loving you, this became Reba’s second album to debut at No. 1 (Reba.com). In 2012, ABC picked up a pilot for the show Malibu Country (King). Although Reba came from a poor background, she never allowed it to define her. She refused to let her failures dictate her life. Because she never gave up on her dreams, she surpassed everybody’s expectations and became a global success. Her faith in God, her family, and her love for country music ultimately led her to where she is
