As the Finance Manager of Green Rope Incorporated (GRI), I would gladly grab the opportunity to help them solve their quality problems at my best while being a part of their organization as a form of Loyalty towards the employer and the company. Since I resigned from Red Wire Corporation (RWC) five years ago, I am responsible for NOT misusing any confidential information of RWC, misappropriation of trade secrets, misappropriation of client lists/clients and solicitation of RWC’s clients prior to cessation of employment any other terms agreed upon by me and RWC. “At my best”, I will not be able to give the information of how RWC manages its quality standards whatever the circumstances of GRI is (brink of bankruptcy) or whatever insisting actions GRI does to resolve their quality issues, But, I can still give them other ways for them to push to their limits and turn around their quality problem situations because the skills and experience that I obtained while employed to RWC are not “confidential” information, these alternative options to help GRI are to be discussed later on.
To provide solutions and alternative solutions, the following set of facts are determined;
• RWC produced “Red Wire” brand for more than 40 yrs, has more than 60% share of the wire rope market in the Philippines. Quality and reputation as a reliable, durable, and safe wire for construction cranes, conveyors, elevators, etc. are well deserved.
• GRI has been able to undercut “Red Wire” in terms of PRICE, but QUALITY of rope is not very good

Since there are a lot of suppliers out there, I think they should build good relationship to other supplier of good quality materials so that there will be a win-win relationship later on. Also, they should really see to it that customer are satisfied by their products to avoid law suits by hiring skilled employees and consulting quality standard
