Yet another enjoyable post! In addition to experiencing racial microaggressions, I also have been on the receiving end of the "You're pretty good at..., for a girl" comments. Like you, I have learned not to let comments such as those from male counterparts offend me either. I think your attitude and approach to handling these situations in a constructive and positive manner definitely shows you are confident with who you are and your abilities and do not let negative aspects tear or break you down.

To further add to your comment that it is important for us to recognize and police our own microaggressions, I also wanted to add that we must also embrace the diversity and equality of others rather than condemn
