When my ELAR teacher announced that we would be reading Touching Spirit Bear, I wasn’t psyched. As a straight-A student, I’ve never been one for reading, but your book changed that.
“The sky, this stick, hotdogs, life, it's all the same. It's what you make of it.” That quote was a major turning point for me. I started to think more in depth and I finally realized that I needed to see the glass half full, instead of half empty because life is short and you need to make the most of it.
