Point #1 Evidence:

Point #1 Analysis:
As seen in the illustration Canadians should try and aid refugees because they are treated badly by their own country. By admitting Jews to Canada we are able to save many children and provide them with a good future.
Point #2 Argument:
At the time Canadians did not realize that Jewish refugees were not asking for a lot. In document number six, it mentions how thousands upon thousands of men, women and children who are being herded like cattle from frontier to frontier, and that there is no …show more content…
Point #2 Analysis:
By examining document number six, one can see that Jewish refugees did not want a lot, they only wanted a but of land and to live in decency and peace. At the time Canada did not really have an excuse to refuse Jewish refugees because they would not have been a burden.
Point #3 Argument:
To go back to the first point, many supported the emigration of Jewish refugees because of how poorly they have been treated, and because of how brutal their living conditions were in Germany. There was an estimated, 300 people who supported emigration of Jewish refugees. In document number seven, it states how individuals such as Odlum, Rev. Biddle, acting president of the Ministerial Association, Archbishop Duke of the Roman Catholic diocese of Vancouver, etc. denounced the wave of anti-Semitic persecution in Germany. It also mentions how the German attacks on Jews were described as very brutal. The Daily Province, Vancouver, November 21, 1938 it states,
