In the story ‘’The Cost of Survival” by Theo Tucker “It's easy to argue to stop people from putting themselves in danger. But this would be Impossible to enforce.” (Tucker 100)Because you will always have people that don’t care about the new rules or laws and still willingly put themselves in danger.Which will usually result in a rescue being carried out. And this is a problem because if someone did something stupid and needed to be rescued it could have been prevented so the rescuers could rescue someone that did not put themselves in danger can be rescued. The problem here is still you made a dumb decision you should always plan for the worst when you are going to be hiking, boating or anything else you always should plan for the worst. In conclusion, people should be held accountable for their actions because if you are willing to make a stupid dangerous choice you should be willing to pay the price when you are rescued. So basically if you are going to be hiking or anything else that could require a rescue think do I have everything I need to be safe and am I risking my safety or my life in what I'm
