There used to be a time when deadly diseases such as smallpox, yellow fever and influenza killed millions. What might have seemed impossible to survive then is now almost eradicated with introduction of vaccines. The lives that were on the brink of death were saved by research. I want to be a part of this research experience because it’s not just about learning the subject but also learning a lot about ourselves. I believe research helps us to expand our boundaries, keep working hard to reach our goal and learn something new about the world around us.
