In the 1930s most Americans were suffering from poverty because of the Great Depression. People started committing crimes to get money. One of the Unlucky Victims Was Charles Lineberghs Jr. His Father, Charles Lineberghs son, was famous for being the first to fly an airplane from NY to Paris. His son was kidnapped and held for ransom.
