Chartres Cathedral is located in Chartres, France. The building is from the Gothic architecture era. The Cathedral features tall towers and beautiful stained glass windows. The building was created under the guidance of Bishop Fulbert of Chartres. The construction of the building began in 1194 and took twenty six years to complete. The length of the building is approximately four hundred thirty feet while the width is one hundred five feet. The Cathedral was built as a place of worship and is still used for this purpose today.
