The first social work pioneer I choose to write about is Gerald Beallor. Beallor was an amazing human being who always cared about people. In his early career as a social worker he worked in aging, health, and mental health and direct services. Gerald worked for many years as a clinical work, administrator, consultation and teaching. What most amazed me about Beallor is that he helped establish and develop a unique case management for equal services and standards of care which emphasize the rights of the persons with Aids, meaning he helped people with Aids to have equal rights without discrimination. Gerald had a significant connection between hospitals and integral part of the community.
