A CEO wanders down the hall of her multi- million dollar company. Jane Doe thinks back to her high school days. Thoughts of where she could have been if it was not for high school flooded through her mind. Her best friends from those days are now her co-workers. Doe met some fantastic people along the way while they were all searching to become popular. Doe’s company would not have been as thriving as it was if she had not held the title of “popular” in high school. She was a part of something greater than herself and became a improved person because of it. Jane’s search to become popular in high school led her to where she was today. But the search can cause greater rewards. The search to become popular can change a person’s outlook on life by making him/her a better person and causing self improvement. A rude, emotionless person may be searching for popularity. The search can cause a different outlook on life and that person will become a better person because of it. One outlook is how people are treated. In attempting to become popular, a person will think twice about his actions toward other individuals. Or she may think twice about acting rude towards her teacher. The search for popularity can cause a person to have a better personality by changing the outlook on how people are treated.
