St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital When I was in about first grade, we started collecting pop tops. I didn’t know understand why exactly, but when my teacher explained it, I can just remember thinking how wonderful of a project it was. That year, I remember feeling so good when I could drop a pop top in the bucket. The fundraiser was to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house. I thought that it was so special to help families have a place to stay when a loved one was in the hospital. Ever since then, I’ve tried to keep every pop top that I found in hopes that I could make someone else’s time of struggle easier.
