Passing the Light “Having light we pass it on to others.” What does this mean? As humans, we get fulfillment out of our lives by helping others and sharing knowledge with one another. It makes sense that this is Wittenberg’s school motto, being that students go to college for advanced learning to share their passions with the rest of the world. Growing up in a christen house hold, God had become a passion of mine. My friend, Kendra, and I took our background of religion and used it to share this light with little kids. Each summer in our hometown, the local church held a vacation bible school that we volunteered with. I passed my light of god onto younger kids growing up under the influence of the church. Wittenberg got the school motto from
