I was originally hired as Deputy Sheriff on February 23rd, 2015. I have served the Polk County Sheriff's Office for a total of 9 years. I have not been employed with any other law enforcement agencies and have remained loyal to the Polk County Sheriff's Office as it aligns with my personal and family values.
On March 31st, 2021, I resigned from my position after 6 years as a full-time Deputy Sheriff to pursue owning my own business. Although I resigned from full-time employment, I requested to be placed in Reserve Deputy Sheriff status, which was granted. As a Reserve Deputy Sheriff, I served 1 year and 6 months.
In October 2022, I was approached by the Bureau of Special Investigations to inquire if I was interested in a part-time detective
