Introduction
Rate of respiration can be changed due to body size, exercise, and body temperature. Carassius auratus, also known as Goldfish are cold water fish. It was thought that putting Goldfish in warm and cold water that the warm water fish would be able to breathe more, having a higher respiratory rate. The independent variable of this experiment would be the temperature of the water, while the dependent is the different respiratory rates from each fish.
