Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to show how involvement as respiratory therapist can associate critical thinking in a career. Respiratory as a whole seems to have the respect, open mindedness, maturity of judgment, and truth seeking within the organization, but it does not seem the same from the working members of the department. The average respiratory jobs within my facility only show to hold at mid-scale with production, which I believe this is suggesting the respiratory is more inclined to career plateauing and may have enlightened the work force on this matter. In the outpatient setting Respiratory Therapists are often educators in asthma clinics, ancillary clinical staff in pediatric clinics, and sleep-disorder diagnosticians in sleep-clinics. They also serve as clinical providers in cardiology clinics and cath-labs.

Discussion
In certain settings Respiratory Therapists are required to become open minded and have maturity of judgments. Respiratory requires decision making found in high pace, high stress situations and to be competent for these situations you must be on your game at all time. Having the ability to be open- minded allows the therapist to accept any change brought to them. Maturity of Judgment will go hand in hand with open-mindedness. Using maturity of judgment allows a Respiratory Therapist to perform at their best and with time sensitive material. Truth-seeking with respiratory is one way that we can control the way we perceive what is happening and how to figure the truth out in the current situation. This would be most important in a code situation for knowing all details about the patient when, where, and
