Iris Manon Young wrote a response piece to Tebble’s critique of her earlier work. From my understanding Young originally wrote a piece that cherry picked from both the liberal and communitarian theories. Her intent was to find the working pieces from both arguments and weave them together to give an alternative viewpoint, not necessarily a new viewpoint. Because we didn’t read the first article I had trouble distinguishing the validity of Tebble’s arguments.
