Why did Booth want to kill Lincoln ?
Lincoln was assassinated in 1865, he died from being shot from Booth. He died at the ¨ ford's theater ¨. When he got shot Booth was trying to escaping , after he shot Lincoln he jumped off the stage he broke his leg and jumped on horse to get away. He had a weapon and a map. The weapon was for defence just in case he got caught and the map was for to know he was going so he wouldn't get lost or caught. Later booth got caught and got shot in the neck and died but left behind his diary, which tell his reasoning of why he wanted to kill Lincoln.
