My fellow Americans,

It is with fervent pride and joy that I announce to you, fair people of America, the culmination of an era built on prejudice, bigotry, and discrimination, and in its place, stands a new era, an era of equality, righteousness, innovation, and acceptance. If not yet already apparent, the world, our country, and our people are in need of change, and we shall be the ones to change them. I am not negligent to the fact that there are people unwilling to change, whether it be out of fear or sheer stubbornness, but it is for those people that I wish to remind, that although the world is changing, it is changing for the better. However, despite our best efforts, wars still rage on in parts of the world, wars unforeseen until now. But place the blame, not on the superpowers of the world, but instead, on the people who truly prompt these wars. The people who work in secrecy, that work behind the scenes with their sole purpose being the ruination of humanity. These “insurgents” are the precisely why we needed to expand our nuclear arsenal last year, it is because of these insurgents that there are needless lives lost, not only in the ongoing Cold war but in almost every war that there has been. It is because of people like this that children grow up without their parents, and it is people like this that are the reason for our involvement in foreign affairs, for we wish to root out and end their reign, to end the suffering, and to begin a new way of living, …show more content…
It is such creativity and innovation that has led our scientists towards the creation of vessels such as the USS Nautilus, the first nuclear-powered submarine issued by the U.S., it is such creativity and innovation that has led to the furtherance of research into the microscopic world, the research responsible for the discovery of the double helix DNA molecule, and it is such innovation and creativity that has allowed us to take to the skies in new ways with the creation of the commercial airliner, the Boeing 707. It is also such innovation that has led us towards the creation of weapons, weapons such as the hydrogen bomb. However, one must keep in mind that the inspiration behind the creation of the hydrogen bomb, was the same inspiration that influenced the mass vaccination of polio within our adolescent population and that inspiration is none other than advancement. The advancement of all aspects of life, not just for war or medicine, for the creativity does not end here, with each new generation comes a new set of ideas to revolutionize the world in bigger and better ways that we must accept with open arms and open
