Dear future member of Rhapsody, I wanted to start by mentioning what an amazing class this is and what an incredible experience it is to be in this class and a part of the CCD family. This class provides each student with growth and opportunities that can not be found in any other elective class. This class is not only enjoyable because of the friends, great singing, and amusing dancing, but also because of the learning experiences you will encounter within this class. Rhapsody is a constant learning environment, where you will feel cherished in every way by the teachers as well as your peers around you. Firstly, Rhapsody is one of the most lively and fun classes you could take, but it must be known that show choir is a lot of work, and the only way to make sure that you have the most enjoyable experience is to put in the work that will make the group the best it can possibly be. There can be times when you are rehearsing on a late Monday or an early Saturday, where you may feel like complaining or not giving your all because you are tired. In those times it becomes most important to put in the extra work and think of the rewards and accomplishments you will feel on stage competing with your best friends. In addition, I would also give the advice to build strong bonds and friendships with your classmates. You will be spending more time than you think with this group, and it makes the entire experience of being in Rhapsody more enjoyable when you are doing it with your closest friends. Monumental memories will be made with these people as you will get to share such a special bond, being able to do something you all love on stage together. Rhapsody feels like a family and some of the nicest people you will ever meet are a part of this group and it is significant that you appreciate the time you get to spend with them. For instance, going to West Virginia and New York this season and traveling out of state with Rhapsody was an opportunity I will never forget. I was able to create memories that I will cherish forever. As a team we got to roam the streets of New York, see a Broadway show, go on a dinner cruise, and to finish the amazing couple days we got to compete alongside each other. I believe that these important moments, with these important people, create the best experience you could possibly have in
