IWA 4.1 In his book The Future of Life, Edward O. Wilson conveys the unproductive and childish manner of environmentalists and people- first discussions by highlighting their similar techniques and ironic parallels throughout his satire filled book. Wilson points out that both groups use name calling and finger pointing to accuse the opposing side making them appear childish and unprofessional. Wilson mocks the opposing sides through name calling, he conveys that people often put their emotions over reasoning, which takes away from their argument and weakening their credibility. “Depending on how angry we are…,” this proves that people- first typically put their emotions first
