On a cold January day, a soon to be president, John F Kennedy, gave a powerful, moving inaugural speech. It was very well put together, so that it smoothly flows from topic to topic. The subject brought the audience together and unified them by speaking of our concurring heritage and obligations for the United States. The considerate president kept the speech to a minimum, only 1,343 words, according to the book, to please the live audience, and keep his underdressed self from becoming under the weather.
