World poverty is an issue that many organizations are trying to solve, though the problem still exists. A philosopher Peter Singer in his essay “The Solution to World Poverty” also presented a solution to global poverty, that demands from us considerable amounts of money for donation to those in need. However, donation of all the extra money to the helpless will deprive people of confidence in future financial stability, leaving us living in the present and have no long term plans or an opportunity to deal with potential problems. Therefore, Peter Singer’s solution is not practical in long term perspective.
