This poem was picked as it's very interesting the type of life this guy had. He had everything that others wished they had. He had everything and then one day he decided to end it all. Furthermore, this could relate to the world we live in as even the top people have their own issues in life. In short, everybody in this world is going to have their own issues in where they feel like they don't want to be here anymore.

The meaning behind this poem is everyone has their own problems. No matter whether you're at the top or bottom, everyone has problems to deal with. For example, this guy had a life everyone wished they had for themselves. Furthermore, the people that got to see him would say that he was everything. Despite this, he decided to end it all with a bullet through his head. He decided to end it on a summer day where it represents the young adulthood of a person. Where it's the best part of your life. Where you get to enjoy and experience things you've never done before.
