Not everyone that officers will be in “good” health condition. Just because Garner was in bad health doesn’t change the fact that he plead for air or that he was being handled with banned techniques by officer's death . Not to forget, “[Garner] pleaded for a breath of air 11 times” (Tiabi). “I can’t breath” means that a person is in a bad condition and is on the verge of dying. The moment officers heard Garners cry for air he should have been released Garner from the chokehold, he was already on the ground and he was nearly in handcuffs at the time. If officers feared that Garner would escape, a false accusation has been made because as said before he was near being handcuffed and there were multiple officers around him if he happened to attempt to escape. What more would Garner have had to done in order to prove he was on the verge of dying?
