On October 10 2015 at 6:30 p.m., Richard Myer gave a speech about the performance before the actual performance. Richard Myer informed the audience about the composers of the pieces, how their music is used in our lives today, the different instruments used for each piece, and he even gave the audience a sense of what the music would sound like. Mr. Myer informed us about the music director and conductor John Giordano, and the pianist Andre Watts. Mr. Myer started his lecture off with talking about one of the composers, Wilhelm Richard Wagner. Wagner was kind of like an egomaniac, he thought that no one else can do what he can do.
