Guns have been part of the American culture for ages. By the second Amendment to the U.S. constitution, citizens have the right to keep and bear arms. But it has always been a very complicated issue. Some American citizen’s claim, the Amendment is fine, as America will be safer if the citizens have the right to own a gun whiles other citizens claims America will not be safe. In America, at least tens of thousands of people die by guns every year. Much more than what any other country on this earth has recorded annually. The issue of gun control and gun right is a debated topic among the public and the government. • Semi- Automatics – These are guns that fires bullet one after the other speedily whenever the trigger is activated.
• Assault Rifle – Is a gun that can fire bullets quickly three shots at a time.
• High Capacity Magazines – These allows a shooter using a semi-automatics to fire more rounds of bullets at a time before a break to load again. They are available even in 100 rounds.
• Full Automatics – These are guns that can keep firing many bullets once the trigger is pulled.
Military assault weapons serve no purpose other than easy mass killing. Guns are number one fast killing machine. Not like a knife, a gun can kill in a matter of seconds. Using assault rifles would result in far more fatalities than any other legal gun in the country. They do not serve any other purpose other than killing. As human live are important, the government should ensure that such kind of gun are eradicated from the society. As criminals are everywhere in the country, assault rifles should not be available for those people or there will be consequence as it has been used in mass shooting during the past few
