Rihanna’s two-part medley, Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary was an emotional and nostalgic tune that reflected her inner consciousness after the loss of the most profound love of her life. Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary basically recounts the relationship between Rihanna and Chris Brown. It illustrated how one event altered the rest of their lives. They were two people who possessed a love for one another that could’ve transcended through life times. Individually, they were well established and extraordinarily talented artists. Their love was powerful and fiery and in the end, that same power and fire was one of many wedges that drove them apart.
