Gregg Easterbrook, a fellow of the Brooking Institution, argues in his essay, “Road Kill,” that citizens in the US and all over the world are so uninformed about the number of traffic accident deaths because the media does not display them (A-3). Easterbrook writes on how horsepower and cell phones (which cause distracted driving) are two of the most common causes of the high number of traffic accidents.
