The article, “5 Myths about hunger in America,” written by Robert Egger lists five hunger myths of Americans not being hungry, malnutrition, children only being hungry, wasted food, and hunger only being about food. On the other hand, Egger disagrees that these myths are true. Throughout the argument Egger backs up why his statements are true by giving facts and statistics that contrast each myth. For example, in Egger’s first myth he claims that hunger does not just occur in the places you hear or know but can also be right at your doorstep. Egger then gives numbers and percentages of how many American families are limited of food as well as how the effect of food insecurity has increased. To add
