Robert Morris was established in 1913 in Carthage, Illinois, assuming control over the previous area of Carthage College. In 1975 it obtained/converged with the Moser School of Business and moved to Chicago (in the end moving the Carthage area to Springfield). Since 1988 it has opened various extra area destinations around Chicago and Central Illinois.
