Throughout Robert F. Kennedy's Statement on the Death of Dr. King, he would use several techniques to persuade the audience and the most often one he used was ethos. In paragraph 4, he would make a statement of how instead of the American public creating senseless bloodshed, we should be like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and be willing to feel compassion and love for each other. He used this ethos to further convince the audience of the need to love each other and feel compassion by stating that it is the right thing to do and that Martin Luther King did just that.
