AC/DC is a rock band that was started up in Australia by a bunch of kids in 1973 the band still tours today making them one of the oldest rock bands that has had a successful career in the mainstream but, the band did not start out with the same members of the band that we know today. The main members at the start of the band where Angus Young lead guitar, Malcolm Young rhythm guitar, Mark Evans Bassist, Colin Burgess drummer, and frontman Bon Scott. Later in the year after moving to Melbourne the band would replace the drummer Colin Burgess because he passed out at a show. The Band would be the Largest band in the Years following that and they would release the album For Those About to Rock We Salute You which would top the Charts in 1983. Later that year Phil Rudd would leave the band after recording Flick of the Switch the band replaced him with Simon Wright. After the AC/DC released Flick of the Switch they went into a slide were they didn't really do anything which was at part from the band just touring and not recording new songs. That does get boring hearing the same songs over and over again. Then in 1990 AC/DC released “The Razor’s Edge” which had the hit “Thunderstruck” which help them restore some of the fan base that they lost after the 1970’s and 80’s. The band would not ever be as big as they were in the 1980’s but, they would have the largest international concert tour showings. Then in the fall of 1995 AC/DC would release the album “Ballbreaker” this would be the 16th album by the band this is a bigger deal because it would be the 16th studio album which people will get confused with live albums which AC/DC has two of them that were listed in here. This album would also reach some of the best reviews by the public. The album would reach outstanding heights for the band with reaching number 4 on the US charts and then not only that but selling over one million copies in the first 6 months of the release.
