The Student Senate, which is the student government on campus, formed a committee in 2016 titled the Food Committee. The committee still stands this year and have open meetings every Tuesday from 2:30 – 3:30 pm. It is co-chaired by two sophomores named Joanne Chiu and Nour Fouladi. Although it is true that less students come during the later hours, many are still on campus at that time and are going without food. Many do not have the luxury to order food off campus and the cafeteria is their only source of nutrients.
