Ron Meick carves into common objects and then prints them as a woodblock print. The objects he uses look like they have been inked and printed, but he does not specify how he prints three-dimensional objects onto paper. It is possible he carves a block to mimic the objects and then separately inks the object itself, but it looks identical to the print. I think he somehow prints the three dimensional “block” without running it through any sort of press.
