ENG 111-T1 Most people would think it would that a place along a coastline would be ideal to grow up or raise a family. Amongst the beaches, boats, and beautiful sceneries many lived the ideology of a many think it is a good life. Often well educated with good careers, money was no object and the finer things of life was within easy reach. Big mansions and beautiful houses settled the small village of Amityville, NY, but the DeFeo’s lived anything but that charming life. From the outside, everything seemed composed, but underneath lived turbulent waters that lead to the murder of six people.

Butch even called home wondering where his father was, but was eager to let everyone know his father didn't answer and was nowhere to be found. After working, Butch met with friend and managed to keep an alibi that he had been calling home the whole day and was not able to get a hold of anyone.
