Could you imagine having to sit in the back of a bus because you're black? Well that's exactly how Rosa Parks felt. Rosa parks was a women who fought for what she thought was right. She never got to see the world as a place where everybody has equal rights. Rosa parks was not tired because of work. She was tired of giving in to the whites.
On the afternoon of December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks was getting on the boycott bus just after work. Rosa parks and many other people stood up for their equal rights(“10 things you may not know about Rosa Parks”). Rosa had been involved in a lot of community groups like being a civil rights activist just before she was arrested.(“10 things you may not know about Rosa Parks”). Just before Rosa stood up to a white she had an argument with james blake the bus driver who told her to give up her seat to a white.(“10 things you may not know about Rosa Parks”). Some people say that Rosa parks gave up her seat because her feet were tired but that's not true she gave up her seat because she didn’t want to let the white people to think that it’s ok to push her around.(“10 things you may not know about Rosa Parks”).
