Rube Goldberg was born on July 4th, 1883. He studied at the University of California. When he was studying at the University of California he was studying engineering. After college he became a great American cartoonist. He had many awards but his best known award was his cartoon “Peace Today.” Most of his work mocked america's love and obsession on technology. Rube Goldberg died on December 7th, 1970. A Rube Goldberg machine is a machine that causes a chain of reaction, and when that chain of reaction happens a simple task is being completed.

The 6 simple machines are levers, wheel and axles, pulleys, inclined planes, wedges, and screws. Pulleys are used today in wells. Say if you want to
