Ruby Bridges is the reason that African-American students can attend school with white students to in the United State. It was not easy to get to this point Ruby took many sacrifices to make that happen. First, she was threatened by the white student's parents and the people of the town every day. Second, when she first started the school she had no friends even people that she has been friends with forever could not even play with her. Third, people were so mean to her and her parents in this time they were so racists to them.
First, people threatened her life every day. The grown-ups would stand outside the school and yell at her, and say mean things. Like some woman yelled at her and said that she was going to poison her food and she stopped
