Summary: Ruth Rose, Josh, and Dink are on vacation with Ruth Roes’ grandmother to the Louisiana bayou. They start the vacation out by going on a hike of the trails and tour of a local village with a man named Jack. They reach the trails and are startled by a newly posted sign that reads “Danger! Zombie Zone”. They reach the village and realize all the locals are at the village cemetery because two graves had been robbed! They children were curious as too why someone would rob graves. They still enjoyed their tour and Jack offered to take them camping that night. They happily accept and are excited for the experience. They go back to town for lunch with Ruth Rose’s grandmother and tell her about the grave robberies. At lunch the kids notice two business men who…show more content… The light is moving so they decided to get up and follow it. To their surprise the light leads them to the village cemetery where they see a figure climbing out of one of the graves. They rule out it being a zombie because of the flashlight and the fact that they noticed a wristwatch. They hurry back to camp and realize that Josh is awake. He questions them and they quickly tell him what they saw. Jack is surprised but doesn’t seem too concerned, which brings the three to some suspicion. They wonder if it might of been Josh because they didn’t notice if he was asleep in the hammock when they followed the light. In the morning Josh takes them back to the village and is quickly called away by his pregnant wife. Jack leaves the kids with a village woman who tells them to go and explore. Their plan was to go back and look around the cemetery but they find out that some of the village people are having a meeting there and they do not want to interrupt. They find another small path leading away from the cemetery and they follow it. They come upon a small cabin with a man chopping wood. They man could fit the description of the figure they had seen that
