It has become common today to argue about the government's role in defending human rights. Furthermore, the theme of human rights could be seen in both women’s suffrage and in Anthem, in ways such as but not limited to protesting and petitioning. Though Susan B. Anthony, the leader of women's suffrage movement, argues that government should allow women to vote and run for office, and Equality 7-2521 argues that government should realize that individuals have freedom to choose and speak, both show that government do limit their human rights.
