I've often seen television programs where people were stranded on an island from shipwrecks to airplane crashes and the familiar (3) letters S.O.S. Were imprinted in the sand; in desperate hopes that someone would come to their rescue.

Today, there are Coast Guards as well as Search and Rescue teams to hopefully recover those who may be in dire need of them.

There is nothing wrong with asking for help because we all need help sometimes in this life whether we may want it or not.

God wants to help us but, so many people let their pride get in the way of them asking for help which sometimes gets them further into trouble by trying to fix things themselves. Pride can lead to a great fall of things and we should never let our pride get in the way of us calling on Jesus' name because, everything that we possess is because of Jesus. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; then we'd have nothing.

For as long as we live, we are always going to need Jesus and his help whether we want to admit it or not. God is in control of everything because he created the world and everything that's in the world.

We are God's people and he wants us to call on him by praying to him with a humble heart and spirit. Being obedient to him and subject to his will for he will forgive us and make everything alright for us; if we repent and turn back to him for his
