Topic #1: Immigration struggle during the 1920's (Sacco and Vanzetti) During the 1920's immigrants were not accepted by the citizens of the United states and we can see that very clearly with the story of Sacco and Vanzetti. It all started when a shoe company got robbed and the paymaster long with his bodyguard were both shot dead, witnesses described seeing two Italian men doing it. Sacco and Vanzetti were arrested when they tried claiming a car that was connected to the crime. When they were arrested they were both carrying guns, but neither of them had a criminal record. In the space between their trial and execution their were a multitude of protests and a man named Celestino Madeiros admitted to the crime. No evidence could be found
