A fashion statement is defined as something you own or wear considered new or different that is intended to make other people notice you. Saggy pants do get you noticed and it is not a sight for sore eyes. Pants were intended to cover the waist and legs not to droop all the way to the floor showing your bottom or underwear. Sagging pants are not a fashion, although a statement that we can live without, so pull your pants up and show some respect.
By way of example, I remember in grade school it was required to wear a uniform and were all considered alike as far as no one was better than the other, yet I do recall that when we had a free dress day on Fridays everyone acted so differently because we were allowed to dress however we wanted. I could not afford nice clothes just semi decent clothes and was always bullied by this kid named Blue calling me names like the “goodwill kid” or “hand me down kid”.
