He is venerated in the Roman Catholic Church, but he is not officially recognized as a saint. Because of this, he has no canonization and beatification date. His feast day is February 25. As I said before, he is the patron saint of traveling and transportation, but also bachelors, storms, gardeners, drivers, epilepsy, and toothache. To me, Saint Christopher has always been with me my whole life. Every time I have traveled I have been safe. I have never been harmed while in a car and with his guidance through Confirmation I know I’ll stay safe. Saint Christopher will help me in my journey through Catholicism. I picked Saint Christopher for my Confirmation name because safe travels is the number one thing I pray for. I know that whenever I pray for that he hears me and he answers me by keeping me safe. Saint Christopher has changed culture and kept millions safe for the last two-thousand years. He has a ton of places named after him including Saint Christopher Island. He has been with us in the Catholic Church, and he will continue to be with us. He was able to carry the world and he will answer our prayers.
