My source of inspiration has alway been from my parents. I have known my friend “J” since we were in middle school. During our time in high school, I was alway amazed by her strong personality and leadership skill. Our personalities was the total opposite of each other as I tend to stay in the background while she is alway the center of attention. During our junior year, I was forced to be the Co Captain of the school tennis team while she was voted to be a 2nd commander for the school JROTC program. That year, I felt really pressured and couldn't play well because of my responsibility. One day, as I watched the JROTC program practicing their performance and saw my friend leading the her squad , I wondered to myself if I could lead my tennis team like her. But then, when she made a mistake in the performance, she wasn’t afraid of being embarrassed about it and quickly fixed her error, Several day after that incident, I realized that I don’t have to be the perfect leader to lead a team and be afraid to make mistake; And that I should be confident in my ability when my teammate voted/force me to be co captain. Thank to her, I became awared that becoming a good leader doesn’t mean you have to be perfect and having confident in myself. My friend doesn’t know about it but that one incident from her inspire me to acquire the leadership skill that she
